The EL wire was a success at DON Draw's house.

Items of interest

Order came from Coolight.com - very good shipping (2 days) and they added extra stuff that was not included in the order
Call Elise or email (elise@coolight.com) to discuss a cheaper shipping rate than what is posted on the site
Make sure to have the burner discount which will require a phone call to coolight.com
Coolight wll bag the individual orders within the total order per person if you send them an excel spreadsheet of the order
two hours was sufficient time to have the entire lesson/event so after work is not an issue.

Recommendations for next time:

ensure that shipping fee is clearly known before making the order
ensure that the exchange with the USD is clear before taking money
If ordering pins, make sure to have 2 pins for each male connector
Do not order black lead wire as any similar wire (like headphone wire) will do
A minimum of 10 people should participate before an order is made
Calculate shipping and duty in relation to the cost of each person's item (i.e. the more you order the more you will pay in shipping and duty)
Shrink tube can be bought at Active surplus
Connectors can be purchased at either active surplus or as a single unit from coolight so that you will not have to buy separate pins
try to find a more convenient way of taking orders than meeting people in pubs.
Perform a demo with everyone watching
Bring enough batteries for everyone.
